Ce certificat est valable deux ans.<\/p>\n<p>Ayant suivi pour la derni\u00e8re fois une formation aux premiers secours et \u00e0 la RCP pour animaux de compagnie en 2018 (deux fois - je voulais m'assurer que l'information \u00e9tait bien ancr\u00e9e), j'avais l'intention de renouveler ma formation aux premiers secours pour animaux de compagnie \u00e0 l'occasion de l'assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de l'Union europ\u00e9enne. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.petsit.com\/conference\">2020 Pet Sitters World Educational Conference and Expo (Conf\u00e9rence et exposition \u00e9ducatives sur les gardiens d'animaux)<\/a> Louis, MO, USA cette ann\u00e9e. Cette conf\u00e9rence ayant \u00e9t\u00e9 annul\u00e9e en raison de la pand\u00e9mie, j'ai opt\u00e9 pour un cours en ligne.<\/p>\n<p>Veuillez noter que les premiers secours pour animaux ne remplacent en aucun cas les soins v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaires. Il s'agit plut\u00f4t de soins pr\u00e9ventifs, qui vous aideront \u00e0 identifier les probl\u00e8mes courants et \u00e0 transporter l'animal en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9 jusqu'au v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire, o\u00f9 il pourra \u00eatre soign\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Les clients me disent souvent qu'ils pr\u00e9f\u00e8rent que nous \"attendions de voir\" plut\u00f4t que de me permettre d'agir imm\u00e9diatement en emmenant les animaux malades ou bless\u00e9s chez le v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire pendant l'absence du propri\u00e9taire. Ce n'est tout simplement pas un plan d'action r\u00e9aliste. Il est souvent difficile de contacter imm\u00e9diatement les clients, dont beaucoup voyagent dans des fuseaux horaires diff\u00e9rents et passent leurs journ\u00e9es \u00e0 participer \u00e0 des r\u00e9unions et \u00e0 des activit\u00e9s de vacances amusantes, ce qui signifie qu'un animal de compagnie peut souffrir toute la journ\u00e9e sans traitement, simplement parce que je suis cens\u00e9 attendre que le client me donne des instructions avant d'emmener l'animal chez le v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire. Ou bien, comme je ne vois l'animal qu'une ou deux fois par jour, son \u00e9tat peut s'aggraver s\u00e9rieusement pendant la p\u00e9riode d'attente. Cela signifie que j'ai l'horrible devoir de regarder l'animal dont je m'occupe souffrir sans \u00eatre autoris\u00e9 \u00e0 lui apporter des soins m\u00e9dicaux.<\/p>\n<p>Les clients doivent m'autoriser \u00e0 emmener les animaux dont je m'occupe chez le v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire si n\u00e9cessaire. C'est l'une des questions qui est abord\u00e9e lors de l'inscription.<\/p>\n<p>Je comprends que les frais m\u00e9dicaux des animaux de compagnie peuvent repr\u00e9senter une d\u00e9pense importante, ce qui est souvent la principale raison pour laquelle les propri\u00e9taires d'animaux h\u00e9sitent \u00e0 amener leur animal malade chez un v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaire pour le faire soigner. En tant que gardienne d'animaux professionnelle hautement qualifi\u00e9e et exp\u00e9riment\u00e9e (c'est-\u00e0-dire gardienne d'animaux professionnelle certifi\u00e9e, form\u00e9e aux premiers secours et \u00e0 la r\u00e9animation cardio-pulmonaire, merci), mes clients doivent me faire confiance pour utiliser mes connaissances et mon exp\u00e9rience afin d'agir en cons\u00e9quence dans le meilleur int\u00e9r\u00eat de leurs animaux de compagnie. Je ne re\u00e7ois pas de pots-de-vin de la part des v\u00e9t\u00e9rinaires et je ne sugg\u00e8re pas non plus de consulter un m\u00e9decin \u00e0 la l\u00e9g\u00e8re.
